Types of searches that can be carried out on Singapore companies:
- ACRA Search
- Can be carried out online on ACRA’s website (free of charge)
- Details of the company obtained:
- Name;
- Unique entity number;
- Status;
- Registered office address;
- Date of the annual return last filed with ACRA;
- Date of the last annual general meeting held;
- Financial year end date of the financial statements last filed with ACRA.
- The following additional information of the company can be obtained by purchasing the Business Profile of the company online for a fee of S$5.50.
- Amount of issued share capital and paid-up share capital;
- Registered address;
- Shareholders of the company;
- Officers of the company;
- Auditors of the company; and
- Charges on the company
- Court Searches
- Insolvency search
- To determine if a company has been wound up, or if any petition has been presented for its winding up.
- Fees: S$10 – S$30
- Enforcement search
- To determine if any of the company’s assets is / was subject to a distress, distraint, charging order, garnishee order, execution or any other process as a result of the judgment creditor enforcing a court order or judgment against the company (as the judgment debtor).

- Civil search
- To determine if the company is / was a party to any civil litigation cases in the Singapore courts

- Appeal search
- To determine whether the company is / was a party to any appeals in the Singapore courts

- To verify the title of the property
- Fees: S$5.25 – S$16
